We have had a great Thanksgiving week. We started out last Friday with a trip downtown for the weekend. We had a great time at the Disney Lights Parade and even squeezed in some shopping on the Mag Mile too! It was so nice to have a weekend away from home, I LOVE HOTELS!!! This year I hosted my first holiday dinner! It turned out great and it could not have happened without my mom and Uncle Bob. We have so many things to be grateful for and we were so very happy to have had my family here to celebrate Thanksgiving in our new home.

Bully
My morning did not start off right. I was on the playground with Madison at school this morning to witness some very mean bullying. A 3rd grade boy being so mean to a little kindergarten boy. Made my heart drop. Made me cry when I got in the car. Made me remember the awful things kids at Madison's old school would say to her because she had a sister who died. The whole thing happened right in front of me. So I did what I thought was best and told the 3rd grader's mom what had been said and done. Not only did he call this little boy fat and stupid but he kept hitting him with his roller backpack. Just because he lost at a game of tag. Yep losing a game of tag brought on this rage attack on this little boy. What did the mom do???? Well she told him to get in line for school and that was it!!! She must not have ever had to deal with someone bullying her child. She must think that behavior is acceptable. But I'm sorry it's not. Maybe I was wrong for telling the mom, but someone had to stand up for that little boy. He walked into school in tears. Broke my heart.

For the love of Costco
I am a big ol' fan of Costco. I love it there! I could go every single day and not get tired of it. Every few days I think hmmmm is there something I need from Costco. I know I know, it's werid and probably somewhat unhealthy well maybe just for my bank account :) It's kinda like laundry for me. It calms me down. I relax and just walk up and down each aisle and look at all the fun items that I hope to someday have(haha yeah right!). Today Maddy and I went together. Maddy was on the hunt for a workbook. We were unable to find what she wanted but did find a book/kit to make friendship braclets. She's super excited and I am too. I haven't made a friendship braclet in about 20 years! So tonight and Sunday Maddy and I will be making our braclets. Thank you Costco for the fun activity!
